Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted lately I have been busy. This weeks theme is Light. For this I did a quick sketch of a Weeping Angel. It is a creature from Doctor Who. It is a statue when it is being looked at, but it can move when nothing is looking at it. They are super fast and if the touch you you get sent back in time. They have you live until you die and feed off the time energy. They can flicker the lights on and off and so I incorporated it into the blog. I have been wanting to do a Doctor Who drawing lately, but none of the themes really fit in, but this did.

The theme this week was theatre. You may notice that this drawing is different from my other drawings, that is because I did it in oil pastel. Another artist utensil I like to use. If it looks messy to you, that doesn't mean it has bad craftsmanship. Oil pastel is almost supposed to be messy. Unlike color pencil, where that is more neat. Anyway, I did the classic happy face sad face object for the theme theatre. I thought it was kind of nice to do a classic.

Today's theme was paper, kind of simple. So I just did a paper airplane soaring through the clouds. There isn't to much to say on this one. So just keeping on looking for the next one! By the way, sorry this is a little crooked, its just the way the picture came out so just ignore it and focus on the meaning.

This weeks word was smooth. I am sorry I did not do last week's, we were undergoing some family issues. Anyway, I drew a ladies hand, because it is stereotypical that women always use lotion and other things like this to make there skin look and feel nice. So I incorporated it into a drawing.

Hello, for those of you who are wondering this blog is about a website called Illustration Friday. Every week they give a new theme that you can draw. People the create a blog just like this and post each weeks artwork that they made. This weeks theme is trouble. I drew a child throwing a rock at a beehive to represent this, because that would get you into big trouble! I hope you enjoy this picture and this blog.
